The FBS is a collection of living historians who all have an interest in the War of Jenkin's Ear and the role of the sea in the history and development of the nation, south of Charleston, and beyond.  We take pride in the quality of our impressions and seek to educate the public through letting them experience as much of the period as we can recreate accurately.  While we tend to focus on the Anglo-Spanish war of 1739-49 (War of Jenkin's Ear), we do various maritime impressions between 1700 and 1749.  Some of our members also participate in Revolutionary War Royal navy impressions.
